State Route 112 - Strait of Juan de Fuca Highway

Located on the northwest tip of the peninsula and offering access to some of the most breathtaking panoramic vistas found anywhere

The 61-mile Highway stretches along remote, rugged coastline and dense rainforests. Viewing abundant wildlife will provide plenty of opportunity for photography. There are deer and elk, otters, sea lions, seals, and whales during their migrations. This area is home to 250 species of birds, so bring along a book to help identify them. It's likely to see puffins and auklets. Driving the Highway with all its twists and turns can take up to two hours to travel in one direction without stopping along the way. And there is so much to see and do along the way.
